Western Formula #2

Causes an increase in the release of red blood cells (RBC) from the bone marrow due to its effect in decreasing the ability of RBS to release its oxygen bound to the cells of the body.

The “feed back mechanism” of temporary oxygen deprivation stimulates the bone marrow to release more red blood cells to compensate. As the effect wears off (usually in 2-3 days), the red blood cells then regain their normal stature, with the added advantage of not having a greater volume of RBCs.

This increase in quantity translates into an increase in the supply of oxygen transported to muscle tissues and, thus, increases endurance and performance.

Western Formula #2 provoca um aumento da libertação de glóbulos vermelhos (RBC) da medula óssea devido ao seu efeito de diminuir a capacidade de o RBS para libertar o seu oxigénio ligado às células do corpo.

O “feed back mecanismo” da privação de oxigênio temporária estimula a medula óssea para liberar mais glóbulos vermelhos para compensar. Como o efeito desaparece (geralmente em 2-3 dias), os glóbulos vermelhos, em seguida, recuperar a sua estatura normal, com a vantagem adicional de não haver um maior volume de RBCs.

Este aumento da quantidade traduz em um aumento da oferta de oxigênio transportado para os tecidos musculares e, assim, aumenta de resistência e desempenho.
